Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale blasts bloggers
Yesterday, rumours were rife that Charles Nii Armah popularly known as Shatta Wale had ordered some young men believed to be his “boys” to go and harass some construction workers in his neighbourhood.
It is against this that Shatta Wale has come out to clear the air, as he blasts some media houses and bloggers for always writing negative and false news about him.
The “Melissa” hitmaker revealed in an interview on Accra based media outfit Hitz FM, that he is angry and disappointed in some sections of the media and some bloggers who only want to write negative things about him without making further enquiries.
In the interview, Shatta Wale denied sending his boys to go and assault some contractors but further went on to highlight that he queried them for working on a stretch of road that had already been tarred.
“The Gringo” crooner also explained that he wanted to find out why they had not rather worked on the untarred road that led to his office since that deserves to be worked on and also demanded to see the supervisor of the project.
He, therefore, charged those who claimed he assaulted the contractor to come arrest and prosecute him because he has a committed crime.
However, In some videos that have gone viral on social media, Shatta Wale is seen angrily complaining about the work the contractors were doing.

Interestingly, Shatta Wale has denied doing anything calling on the law to work as it ought to.
“I have done nothing which shows that Shatta Wale is above the law. I was just trying to help the government for us to all help ourselves. If I did anything wrong, I should be arrested because nobody is above the law in Ghana” he stated.
According to Shatta Wale, he was rather fighting for the good of his community members and not being violent as speculated.
“I was fighting for the people in my area so they can get a good road. I was just waiting for them to tar my road because that was the agreement the contractor made to me” Shatta Wale explained.
