Dancehall act, Emmanuel Andrew Samini has revealed in a radio interview that the life span of a musician is not limited to years.
Speaking with host, Andy Dosty on the Hitz Daybreak show, Samini noted that as a musician, one’s career does not depend on his age. According to the multiple award winner, if there were restrictions or age tied to the music career of artistes, then there wouldn’t be older musicians still recording music or getting actively involved in music.
“Untamed is my last album i did and it is doing well. There are still old artiste recording and for a musician, your life span is not limited to years, so we are still pushing”.
Samini, who had been a recent victim of injustice and prejudice because of his brand and dread locks was on the show with Andy Dosty when he passed a comment about “Untamed” being his last album for the year, and that sparked that conversation. He describes his genre of music as African Dancehall, a blend of reggae and the African art.
