Celebrities, Nana Aba Anamoah and actress, Efya Odo fire counsellor Lutterodt and call him an idiot following his “rape” comments.
It would be recalled that recently, Counsellor Lutterodt has made some disparaging comments against women who have been raped. Speaking as a panel member on Adom TV, he alleged that women who are raped enjoy it at a point.
“People who are raped don’t endure the pain throughout the whole period because it always gets to a time when the start to enjoy themselves in the act”.
This statement has sparked a national outburst of intolerance over such comments. Similarly, Efya Odo and Nana Aba Anamoah including other female and male celebrities have condemned him.
However, Efya Odo who seemed to be extra livid over such misogynistic comments has replied him on twitter. In a tweet, she emphatically stated that Counsellor Lutterodt is an “IDIOT”. Furthermore, she went on in the tweet to reason with him asking if innocent victims enjoy such horrible acts.
Nana Aba Anamoah also gave him a fair share of his comments. In another tweet sighted by obcommunication.com, the General Manager for GhOne TV announced that she has banned him from appearing on GHOne TV.
However, she admitted that even though Counsellor Lutterodt’s appearances on shows give such shows ratings, it won’t happen under her watch. Hence, she has therefore given a strict warning to all producers not to allow him on any show on GHOne.
Additionally, she tweeted, “Shame on radio and tv stations who continue to feature him for ‘ratings’.
Government Officials and other Celebrities fire Counsellor Lutterodt following rape comments
On the other hand, actress, Ama K. Abebrese, didn’t let Counsellor Lutterodt go free. She also gave him a piece of her mind. According to her, for far too long, he has been emboldened by the media to spew his tripe.
To cap it all, the Information Minister, Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah also bastardized him, stating, rape is not a topic to be joked with.
“Rape and violence against women is not something we should joke or toy with. We need to develop a more robust environment for protecting our wives, daughters, sisters and mothers.”
Currently, there has been a petition being signed to keep him off radio and television.
