Ghanaian highlife legend, Kofi Boakye Yiadom, popularly known as Kofi B, passed on earlier today, Sunday, 2nd February 2020 at Abeadze Dominase, a suburb of Mankessim in the Mfantsiman district of the Central Region.
Speaking to some close relatives, it was reported that in the early hours of today, the “Afia Donkoh and Koforidua” flowers hitmaker, Kofi B was billed to perform at an event together with his colleague, Kofi Nti.
According to reports, Kofi B knocked on the door of his fellow highlife musician, Kofi Nti and allegedly complained of severe heart pains and burns, hence the former begged the latter to take him to the hospital.
It was alleged that Kofi Nti did just so, but unfortunately, the doctors at Abeadze Dominase health Centre, where he was taken, did all they could to rescue the highlife legend from the jaws of death, but it was to no avail.
However, according to reports, it was alleged that the singer was perspiring, his blood pressure and body temperature had risen abnormally. Although he was said to have been put under oxygen, the “Belinda” crooner was believed to have passed on around 3 am this morning.
