One of the talented female artistes and former artiste signed onto Lynx Entertainment, MzVee has revealed that she has a close bond with the “Sugar” hitmaker, Kidi as compared to Kuami Eugene who are all signed onto the same Music Record label.
In an interview monitored by obcommunication.com on Accra based Okay Fm, MzVee noted that she has a strong connection with Kidi. Appearing on host Abeiku Santana’s show, on the “Blezz Da Mic” segment, she noted that she is always ready and wouldn’t worry about a collaboration with her former colleague.
She further noted that even though she has left the record label, she always has a deeper connection with Kiddi more than she has for the “Angela” hitmaker, Kuami Eugene.
“Even though I’ve left their record label, I’m always connected deeper with Kidi more than Kuami Eugene. We always understand each other,” she noted.
Hinting on a new album, she said because she has a very good relationship with Kiddi, she wouldn’t bother getting into the booth with Kidi to feature him on her album.
Born, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, she is well known in the entertainment sector as MzVee. She released her first album with exciting tunes like ‘Borkor Borkor’, ‘Natural Girl’ and ‘Dancehall Queen’. MzVee was signed to the record label Lynx Entertainment and was the winner of the New Artiste of the Year award at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.
MzVee took a two-year break from the Music Industry from 2017 to 2019. However, in an interview with TV3 on Monday, January 5th 2020, she revealed that her reason for leaving the music industry was as a result of a massive depression which she was going through.
This has dismissed pregnancy rumours that some people speculated was the reason for her hiatus. According to her, fellow songstress Efya, was the only person who helped her through her psychological moments.
She came back with a new single, Sherriff.
