Telecommunication company, MTN has exposed actress, Salma Mumin over claims she made on Instagram that her GH¢10,000 is missing from her business mobile money (momo) account.
Thursday, October 22, 2020, actress Salma Mumin made an Instagram post that suggested that MTN had stolen her money from her mobile money (MoMo) account. In view of this, the telecommunication giant released a rejoinder that seeks to deny the claims.
MTN on the other hand in their rejoinder denied the accusations, revealing that nothing of that sort had happened and as a matter of fact has given the actress a 24-hour ultimatum to render an unqualified apology over her comments that sought to claim that MTN is not safe as boldly captioned in her post.
In a post sighted by GhanaWeb.com on the official Facebook page of MTN-Ghana, the company stated that they will be compelled to take legal actions against her if she doesn’t come out to retract her claim that suggested that MTN had stolen her money.
“We wish to state categorically and for the records that the claim made in the post are false and misleading to the public and the poster’s Instagram followers. As @Salmamumin is very much aware, the said amount was not in her MoMo Merchant Wallet and no money has been taken from her MoMo Merchant Wallet as claimed,” parts of the statement read.
