Sam Kissi explains “Kontrofi Nkokora”

Popular high life musician, Sam Kissi has explained an interesting proverb he used in his song, which is also the eponymous title, Kontronfi Nkokora.

Speaking in a live interview with Barrister Daniels, host of the Entertainment Review and Local Chart Show on ATL FM, 100.5 MHz based in the University of Cape Coast, Sam Kissi explained that the title is a proverb which simply meant that people have a close affinity with those who share close similarities.

“For instance the closest variance of this proverb is Monkeys play by sizes. This simply means that people have or share a close affinity with those who share some similar values. Eg: When a UCC student dates another UCC student or a Fante man marries a Fante woman this saying can be applied in this context” he added.

Sam Kissi is a banker and has been nominated in this year’s Central Music Awards. He has just recently released a new song which features sensational rap artiste, Cabum.
