This year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is yet to have a closure to drama and controversies as Medikal alleges that his twitter account was nearly hacked.
In a recent trending post on social media handle, twitter, Medikal seems to be mocking “Eno Barony“, one of his fiercest rivals on twitter. The duo initially had a fall out prior to the VGMA’S. As a result of this, upon seeing some threads of tweet from the rapper’s Twitter account, many felt that the “Omo ada” hitmaker was ostensibly making fun of the “King of Queens”, Eno Barony.
Interestingly, in a turn of events, Medikal has revealed that he was not the one behind those posts, for his account was almost hacked.
The alleged hacker made a lot of ridiculous comments against Eno Barony that created the impression that Medikal was behind those tweets.
One of the tweets showed a VGMA 21 designed star keyholder with the inscription, “On behalf of VGMA, I present this award to Eno”.
Another comment read “I just dey house de watch the VGMA show again, the settings be deadly ! The Organisers really spoil there”.
In another tweet, there was a shade thrown at Kofi Mole, and this really got people thinking if really it was Medikal who was writing such things.
The tweet also read, “Kofi Mole is a mad man, I won’t talk to him again. I’m blocking him now !!!
This was quite shocking because it has never been established that Medikal and Kofi Mole are at loggerheads, hence it was very strange to see Medikal tweet such.
At 2:12pm, “El Chairmano” as he is also known tweeted to clear the air that he was sorry and explained in a tweet that his account nearly got hacked.
Defending his stance, Kuami Eugene, newly crowned artiste of the year has also confessed that he would have loved that Medikal or Kinaata wins the prestigious prize.
“I was rooting for Kinaata to win the Artiste of the Year besides me. I was also rooting for Medikal as well. Because Kofi Kinaata has really worked and Medikal also released back to back hit songs for the year. He has done the job, truth be told,” he said.
