Young talent and former artiste of Burnington Music, Kelvyn Bwoy has come out to apologize over some comments he made concerning Dancehall artistes in Ghana and Stonebwoy in particular.
Within some few weeks ago, Stonebwoy alleged that there is no Dancehall aritsite in Ghana and this didn’t go down well with a lot of music lovers. However, on Andy Dosty’s Day Break Hitz Entertainment Morning Show, Kelvyn bwoy has made a U – turn apologizing to Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and other dancehall acts. He said he was very remorseful for those unfortunate comments and is pleading for forgiveness.
“I won’t come here and come and disregard anyone, you get me. If i didn’t go about it well, then i say sorry. I say sorry to every dancehall artiste out there, Shatta Wale, every dancehall artist, Stonebwoy” he sounded apologetic.
Interestingly, he stressed that he made that statement because according to him, Stonebwoy especially had said he(Stonebwoy) is not a dancehall musician but an Afro Dancehall artiste.
“But I said that confidently, because I thought he stands for that and he’s been saying that for years… that he is an Afro Dancehall artiste. I thought he was gonna back me because he’s been saying that a lot” he lamented.
Currently, Kelvyn Bwoy is no longer a Bhim Native. His contract with the Burnington Music Group has been cancelled but he is still managed by Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy’s former Manager but now turned Agent.
