Controversial Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has mocked rapper, Desmond Blackmore also referred to as DBlack for paying huge sum of money for the fake UN awards.
In a recent Facebook live video on the Facebook page of Shatta Wale, he alleged that DBlack paid a sum of GH 5,000.00 for the alleged awards that has attracted a lot of mockery from some sections of the public.
“When he was bringing the award, he told everybody that he had arranged for the award to be in Ghana, but the award receipient must pay GH 1,000.00. So all those who received the award, paid GH 1,000.00. DBlack was the only person who paid GH 5,000.00. DBlack, how many awards do you want?” he quipped.
Shatta Wale further alleged that for about seven years, Mr. Kojo Fodjour, popularly known as Dr Fodjour or Dr UN had sent some messages and invitations to some prominent people in the society to aid him with either an interview or a music collaboration amidst other pleas for financial support, but it was to no avail.
“Dr UN sent this MP3 seven years ago to some musicians, Dj’s, presenters and other important personalities whom he thought could have assisted him, but it was to no avail. So after going into coma, he came back and decided to pay them back in their own coin. Specifically, with Sarkodie, he sent him a mail, but Obidi never replied. So he called Berla Mundi and narrated the incident. So this is the story”.
According to Shatta Wale, this award scheme was a revenge and a move to get at those who refused to support him.
