1,460 Covid-19 patients in Ghana recover

Covid-19 recovery in Ghana increases as seven hundred and eighty-six (786) patients have recovered. This is according to the latest figures released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

The recovery represents a stark rise to 1,460 against the initial 674 as of the last update.

The latest development comes on the back of an announcement by the service that the country’s total number of confirmed Covid-19 has reached 5,638.

Four more deaths have also been recorded bringing the number of deceased to 28 as of May 15, 2020.

There are currently 4,150 active cases according to the Disease Surveillance Department of the GHS.

Meanwhile, Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East remain the only regions without a confirmed case of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, French News Agency, (AFP) has alleged that some claims by President Akufo Addo with regards to testing is false.
