Controversial media personality, Blakk Rasta has hit hard at former President of Ghana and National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama to go and launch investigations into some alleged cases of corruption which include some akonfem (guinea fowl) that flew to Burkina and a shady partnership with RLG computers and technology.
He made this comment at the backdrop of a campaign promise Mr. Mahama made to the effect that he would investigate the Menzgold saga and retrieve their lost monies to the aggrieved customers.
During a campaign tour in the Western Region, specifically, Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency, the NDC’s presidential candidate, Mr. Mahama intimated that he would probe the Menzgold owner, Nana Appiah Mensah since the current government is reluctant to probe the multimillionaire, thus leading to dire hardship on the path of the depositors.
However, Blakk Rasta wasn’t enthused with the comment and thus hit at him telling him(JD Mahama) to launch an investigation into the akonfem that allegedly flew to Burkina Faso and a botched partnership with RLG Company limited, a partnership many felt was quite shady in nature.
“Go and chase the Akonfem, go and chase RLG that you gave so much money to and issues came out of that, Mr Ex-President chased all the slay queens who are mentioning your name all over the place. Mr Ex-president chases all the corrupt people you spent corrupt money on. You should be investigated.”
Meanwhile, during the same campaign tour, the former President John Dramani Mahama also promised to free galamsey operators who were jailed under the watch ship of the current government if he is voted into power.
After making a stop at Odum Banso in the Mpohor Constituency in the Western Region on Thursday, October 22, 2020, Mahama revealed that it was unfortunate that foreigners are pardoned for the same crime yet Ghanaians are rather imprisoned for the same mining offence.
