Popular musician, Fameye has revealed in an interview that a lot of women in his church often complained about his hairstyle hence he decided to quit church to avoid such constant criticisms.
Speaking on Abeiku Santana’s ATUU on UTV, the “Nothing I get” hitmaker, Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known by the stage name Fameye, enumerated some of the things that led him to quit going to church.
According to Fameye, some women in the church were constantly criticizing his hairstyle and this was something he disliked. Therefore, out of frustration, he decided to end it by deciding never to step foot in the church room again. Apart from his hairstyle, he also revealed that he was constantly criticized for wearing earrings as well.
“Some women in the church always complained about my hairstyle and the way I wear earrings..I got tired of the criticisms so I stopped attending church”.
The reigning VGMA New Artiste of the Year-2020, also added that regardless of the fact that he has stopped going to church, he continues to pray earnestly to God without ceasing.
“I don’t go to church but I pray a lot. I stopped going to church after my hairstyle was constantly criticized” he stated.
Fameye, is a Ghanaian rapper and musician from Bogoso. He is best known for his single “Nothing I Get“. He released a remix of the song which featured Article Wan, Medikal and Kuami Eugene. He was a member of MTN Hitmaker Season 4. He won an award for the best new artiste of the year at the 2020 VGMA’s.
Fameye became popular after Ogidi Brown his former manager brought him into the limelight after releasing “Nothing I get”, but had to part ways eventually, even though he acknowledged him when he won the award.
